Namesakes

Namesakes can bring different feelings. I was humbled to have a school named after a friend and me four years ago. It felt a little awkward to have a baby named after me two years ago. Now I am pleased to find a baby named after my daughter, Tamara. The mom said that her older daughter kept telling her that they should name the baby Tamara because she remembered a little white girl who came to visit with that name. She wanted to always remember Tamara. How sweet. Here is the photo of me with the mom and Tamara.

That's a sweet story that made me smile.

When we become Christians, or Christ-followers, we take on the name of Christ. We can pray that this new Tamera will also become a Christ-follower like our Tamera! Enjoyed reading all about your trip. Princess
